Y's by Yohji Yamamoto x Adidas Originals Super Position

Yohji Yamamoto, one of Japan's most influential fashion designers, has teamed up with Adidas Originals to create some interesting footwear. Seen above is a traditional Superstar shoe named the Super Position. Yohji keeps it simple with two color ways: white and black. The shoes feature super soft premium leather on the upper, inner lining, and on the toe box. What struck us all funny were the changes made to the original Adidas stripe logo. A hand threaded zig zag pattern with an excess of thread hanging at the bottom, the shoe allows the wear to do with is what he wants. We've heard after walking a bit they fray quite nicely, so no matter how you wear it, it'll still be a sweet look. The Yohji Yamamoto x Adidas Originals Super Postion sneakers will be available online on August 10th at 12:01 a.m. EST and at 11 a.m. in store for $185. Peep some more imagery below.
